I recently purchased the Sony Ericsson W880i
and immediately found a fault in that during its first charge it simply refused to accept the charge. I exchanged it same day.

Looking for a spare battery I browsed through EBay Uk to see what the Sony Ericsson W880i was selling for and out of 5 pages of sellers were 21 faulty phones for sale for spares or repair.

Now given that most mobile phone users don't usually bother to sell faulty phones on ebay this nmber is quite extraordinary. The percentage on Ebay alone works out to be about 15%. so god knows what the true figure really is? I am keeping my fingers crossed.
